Mortgage Broker Meeting Results
August 29, 2006 Posted by Tyler CruzHere’s a video update. I discuss how the meeting with the mortgage broker went and talk about mortgage financing and such.
Sorry for the delay on it – I had wanted to post it a few days ago but I’ve been having major problems with YouTube, then Blogger. So I tried converting to WordPress, but I don’t have PHP compiled with CURL, which is needed to import from Blogger to WordPress, so that will have to wait.
I had to re-edit the video and re-upload to YouTube, and finally it worked. Here it is.

Video isn’t working for me.
Not working for me either
Heh, yeah, I’m actually installing WordPress as we speak. I’ve had enough of stupid Blogger now.
Sounds great, are you going to be using the default theme on WP for a while or do you already have a theme?
can’t you set up a tripod or something?
May be a while actually andrew – I don’t have PHP compiled with CURL so I can’t convert from Blogger…
If somebody could let me run WordPress on their server to do the conversion, grab the MySQL dump and put it on my machine, then that may work…
robertdjung – I could, but 1. It’d look pretty boring and like some infomercial or something, and 2. I like to make you dizzy.
hey, how much do you make outside of pokerforums.org?
WordPress is the way to go. Good luck with the new house btw.
I watched the video and wanted to let you know how lucky you are to have the OPTION to buy a 160k house/condo.
Here 250k (USD) will get you a 650 sq.ft condo (turned from apartment) wit a 1 car garage. 1 bed/1bath little apt. for 250k 🙁
Good luck and it sure is exciting 🙂
Oh, forgot to mention 250k is the LOWEST priced condo in this area. A nice condo thats approx 1800.sqft 3bed 2.5bath will run about 400k USD. It’s crazy.
Todd,
Yeah… if I was really smart, I’d move to a country with:
1. Low taxes
2. Cheap cost of living
Although, things aren’t as simple as that…
But yeah, housing is quite decent here.. although it’s skyrocketing here. Most properties have doubled in value over the past 5-6 years. And it will only explode – the Olympics are coming to Vancouver in 2010…
