Movie-Vault.com Development Update
September 28, 2009 Posted by Tyler CruzSince my development team sent me an update on how the new Movie-Vault.com is progressing, I thought I’d share with you how it’s coming along.
While they got a lot of work done thus far, the new site still probably won’t be ready for launch until the second or third week of October. There’s no real rush, anyway, other than me simply being excited for the new site to go live.
They new site is probably close to 50% done, but there’s still a lot more to do, mainly small things. The main core of the new site is done, with the new ‘engine’ running and the old code being recoded from Perl and reinvented and reconstructed into PHP.
Here’s a screencast video I made showing what the new Movie-Vault.com currently looks like so far on the development server:
There’s still a lot of work to do, but so much progress has already been made so I can’t wait to see what the site looks like in another week or two.
Let me know what you think of the new Movie-Vault.com so far.
It’s always hard coverting old code to new code.
I have some sites – that need to be redone,
but i don’t want to get it reprogrammed
as it can be quite a hassle.
Looks like ur project is flowing quite nicely
Looking good, man! I wish you the best of luck.
In all honesty I’d say it looks too dark, crowded and messy
I look forward to seeing the finished product!
The site’s looking great Tyler! Can’t wait till it goes live.
Looks like a good site.
remove those casino link, no way related with site topic
It’s a little busy. What’s the point of the movie vault? Do you watch movies or rent them or review them? Maybe that should be posted on the front page. Graphics look great though. Good luck bro.
Hey Tyler!
Actually I had seen the earliar post on this one & the home page was neater in that post. Internal pages are cool. They are fun & user friendly.
Btw, what are you gonna do with the merger? Is there any decision you have taken?
Still haven’t decided…
So far the site looks great. Hopefully things go ahead without a hitch and you meet you opening day goal.
Tyler who do you use for php work? are they affordable? I need some work done and it seems that you have some reliable people doing the work, shoot me an email or a reply.
I use Interberry.com. Tell Binoi Tyler sent you and he’ll take good care of you.
Thanks tyler, will do.

It must be exciting seeing progress coming along well on the site. It looks like it has a lot of potential. I wish I had the money to pay someone else to create my sites for me.
Hi, FYI The new site is definitely very much better
The new site is definitely much better
This is an amazing site but I have to agree with John’s comment about the casino link.
The review section is fantastic – much cleaner than the current site.
I’m so jealous of the automation lol… I’m making a note of Interberry’s work here.
I hope the new site is up soon – you definitely want to be up and running for the Holiday blockbusters.
