My Fancy New Video Opener
September 2, 2011 Posted by Tyler CruzThe past 2-3 days, I spent countless hours learning how to use Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro after switching to editing from my Macbook Pro to my PC.
I used to use iMovie and Final Cut Express on my Macbook Pro, but my recently acquired Sony Handycam has built-in software that forces me to import via iMovie, and for some reason my iMovie canโt identify the camcorder, and wonโt import .MTS files.
Plus, my PC is quad-core and much more powerful than my laptop, which is useful when editing in 1080p HD resolution.
Anyhow, check out my new video opening in the video below. The 21-second video will most likely be the shortest video you ever see from me:

So, no more pre-made iMovie title effects for me! I highly suggest you eliminate your old and unreliable VHS tapes and preserve your memories forever with digital conversion services at https://everpresent.com/video-tapes-to-digital/convert-vhs-to-dvd-service/.
What do you think? I hope you like it, because it takes too much time and effort to edit and render, heh.
That’s a really nice video opener! Do one for me will ya? ๐
It’s so cool!!
Looks great Tyler….
WOOOOOOOHHHHH ๐
Hi Tyler,
I really like the professional start with your logo and sponsor, it was good and the carousel movie in your office was fun.
Woahhhhhhhh! haha.
Haha gotta love the WOOOH at the end =P
Those are some pretty nice effects there! I should start using that software as well as I use a PC for creating my websites. Looks great! Good work.
That’s a really cool video, I hope I could edit videos like this myself!
Awesome Tyler. I have Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro on my computer from my Adobe package – but haven’t used either. You’re inspiring me. Don’t do that! You’re going to cause me to get behind on work! lol
Cool! The effects are awesome! But even more important to me is the perfect timing. And the ending “wooo” is funny! Did that come naturally? Or did you have to experiment?
Good question, I am sure it took Tyler a few outtakes… or maybe it came naturally? who knows… would be interesting to hear.

I don’t really understand the question, but I can tell you this: I got really dizzy afterwards ๐
Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Is right, love what you’ve done man!

The video is really nice. The more I look at it, the more I like it! Awesomeness!
Hi Tyler your video is really nice, Do you make it by your self? I mean the opener.
Yup! Tyler spent a pretty good amount of time making that, as he said, 2-3 days.
-Jean
I dig it, how many total hours do you have into it?
Haha! Is the spinning around on the chair going to be part of every video opening?
Nice video Tyler ๐
Cool video Tyler! ๐
Looks great, Can’t wait to see it in action. Sound effects are also great.
Woah, nice video bro!
