Affiliate Marketing Video Update: December 2012
January 23, 2013 Posted by Tyler CruzWell, I’m doing pretty well in getting up a new blog post every 48 hours so far. This is the 6th blog post that I’ve posted "in a row" now, and hopefully I can continue with this!
In this post, I have another video for you. It’s the third and final video of the 3 videos that I recorded back on December 26th, 2012.
The upside of recording several videos (or writing, for that matter, but especially recording videos) at once is that it’s a lot easier to provide more frequent posts. The downside is that the subject matter can get very dated very fast, as this video will show.
However, while this video is already "out-of-date", it still gives a good update on how my campaigns fared in December, and what I focused on affiliate marketing-wise for that month.
Later in the video (6:50 mark), I reflect on how I’m being unproductive when I’m working on my campaigns, as well as touch on what I should be doing instead.
Below is the 12-minute video:

While December was certainly not the greatest month for me, things have definitely picked up since then, and I actually have some "major news" I can’t wait to share with you.
However, you’ll have to wait for a couple more posts first
Thanks for reading, and I’ll have a new post up in another 48 hours!
11 thousand dollars in amazing figure actually..I have not touched that figure yet ..anyways you are doing amazing stuff mate..keep spreading across the tips.:)
We need another video update for 23rd January. What traffic sources allow direct linking? Are you talking about MSN AdCenter?
I haven’t come across a traffic source that doesn’t allow direct linking.
what about adwords?
Works for me.
What traffic types do you buy? Is it mainly PPV, Banners, Search Engines ads or something else?
Right now, everything except for mobile basically.
So to understand this clearly a lot of the money you make you reinvest in buying advertisements for your site? Do you get most of your traffic via search engines searches or you paying for traffic?
I’m primarily doing affiliate marketing now. I don’t buy ads for my site, I buy traffic to push to affiliate offers.
Off topic: Are you going to do a 2012 review post? I remember you doing them before where you go over your goals from 2012 and set new goals for 2013. Or maybe I just missed it!
I wrote about how I’m not continuing with my goals post in my last goals post ๐
haha, touche, I must of missed that part.
Dude – found your site about a month ago. You sound like me, lol. But now I only check stats once/twice a day. Tyler, you’ve touched on something I struggle with as well. I’ve noticed also with CPA, offers come and go. This is something you have to keep up with, which I hate. Where as other affiliate offers last forever compared to these CPA – other offers like an affiliate store. It’s a chore to stay on top of it some of this and trying to decipher why traffic slows down is difficult as you mention.
I mainly use affiliate stores. Was trying out CPA. Found a great offer, but it recently stopped. My ROI was 30%. If I only had 100 of those.
I’d much rather read an article than watch a video ๐
Your video inspired me, but fact is this that I donot know much about affiliate marketing.
Update: As I do not know much about affiliate marketing, that’s why I am following your this blog to learn this. Sometimes your income report make me jealous.
