Refer a Super Affiliate, I Pay You $10,000
August 26, 2009 Posted by Tyler CruzI just finished adding the PeerFly’s Awesome Autumn competition to PublisherChallenge which will run from September 1st to October 31st.
I won’t be listing all the details and prizes of the competition here as you can visit the link above if you want to find out more about the contest.
Instead, I’m trying something new this time around. For the first time ever, I’m offering a type of referral commission to anyone who refers a publisher who ends up making it into either one of our top tiers in the contest.
Now, these are the top tiers and have very high requirements so you’ll definitely need to know a true super affiliate who can generate huge numbers. But if you do, this is easy money for you.
I’m offering a one-time referral payment for each super affiliate that is referred to PublisherChallenge that ends up winning any one of the following four tiers:
$1,000,000.00+ VIP Tier – 2009 Lexus GS 460
For each person you refer to PublisherChallenge who ends up winning this prize, I’ll pay you $10,000.00 out of my own pocket. Send in 3 and I’ll pay you $30,000.
Since the competition runs for 2 months (61 days) that means your referral will have to average $16,393 a day to win this prize. That is obviously a lot of money, but there are certainly affiliates out there that can do this or I wouldn’t bother making such high tiers.
PeerFly offers the highest payouts that I’ve seen on any networks (street payouts mean nothing) and we’re talking about giving away a $60,000 car as a prize, so there is definitely incentive for the person you’re referring!
$500,000.00 – $999,999.99 Tier – 2010 Honda Acura TSX
For each person you refer to PublisherChallenge who ends up winning this prize, I’ll pay you $5,000.00 out of my own pocket.
To win this tier, your referral would have to average $8,196 a day. While the million dollar tier above certainly limits the number of affiliates who can generate those kind of numbers, this $500,000 tier ($250K a month) definitely opens up the range of affiliates who can produce this kind of volume.
$400,000.00 – $499,999.99 Tier – 2009 Honda Accord Coupe
For each person you refer to PublisherChallenge who ends up winning this prize, I’ll pay you $4,000.00 out of my own pocket.
To win this tier, your referral would have to average $6,557 a day.
$300,000.00 – $399,999.99 Tier – Epic Vegas Trip for Two for a Full Week
For each person you refer to PublisherChallenge who ends up winning this prize, I’ll pay you $3,000.00 out of my own pocket.
To win this tier, your referral would have to average $4,918 a day.
How to Refer Somebody
While I plan on adding a custom referral system to PublisherChallenge in the future, right now there is no such system in place.
Therefore, to refer somebody, you will need to tell them to e-mail me at admin@publisherchallenge.com either before or immediately after they sign-up and start participating in the contest. They must be the one to verify you referred them otherwise people may try to take credit for other people’s referrals.
This is why it’s best to refer somebody you know or are friends with.
More Details
- I will send you your referral payment once your referral wins the contest, is paid, and I receive my own referral payment. This will typically be Net-15. Your referral must have legitimate leads/sales and not win through fraud or any illegal means.
- Payment will be sent through either bank wire or cheque (FedEx Express), your choice.
- There must not be any collusion between the referrer and referred publisher such as an affiliate referring himself under another name or an agreement to split the referral money, etc. Referring your friends is fine (and encouraged), but there must not be any private deal made between you and the referral.

That is pretty good amount if you bring a super affiliate. I don’t think I know anyone that is a huge affiliate. I think I am out of that game. Greg Ellison

Thats a good incentive to invite a super affiliate but am I missing something? If I new a super affiliate wouldnt I want to be the one to refer them so I get %5 of there earnings instead of you? If they payout is % on a million you would be getting 50,000.00. If they turn that person into you they get $10,000.00 and you get $40,000.00 after you payout. Plust the next months money. That just doesnt seem right. Its a deadly plan but just doesnt work for me. Just wanted to give my two cents and you might want to delete this post so others dont read it.
Absolutely you could do that, and my assumption is that people would already be doing this if they could. (For example, why haven’t you done it already?)
The difference here is that there is a prize up for grabs and thus a big incentive for the super affiliate. He isn’t just signing up to a network, he is competing for a $60,000 car prize.
And PeerFly has so far allowed existing PublisherChallenge referrals to win prizes each and every contest.
Exactly Tyler, you’ve just answered your own point. If any of us had enough influence over a $500,000+ a month affiliate then we WOULD have them signed up under us. Can you honestly see a conversation like this :-
“Hey Paul, don’t know if you’ve heard about this site but they are offering a 60k car for a prize to any affiliate who can do $1 million in 2 months. Now I know it’s peanuts to you and you’ll have to move all your campaigns but if you sign up I’ll get 10 grand and some bloke you’ve never heard of gets to take 5% of what you earn for life. How about it?”

That seems to be a very Big Contest with such costly prizes. i hardly think anyone would possibly succeed in this contest.
Yes this is a big contest with high prizes. And yes it will be extremely hard to rich the prize incentive goals. But ask you self 1 question. What do you have to lose. Especially if you are trying to win 1 of the big prizes. It gives you an incentive to work harder and if you don’t win the prize you still recieve the commissions that you have earned anyway.
Yes that’s a valid point but sadly I couldn’t participate as the affiliate networks doesn’t accepts my application mostly because I am from India which is not suitable for their business, interest type and blah blah blah..
I agree that the contest seems huge, but why not try just for the commissions? If you just work hard and don’t think about ONLY winning the top prize, you might make some good money.
Peerfly.com looks very promising and i am going to start promoting their offers. Another cool thing is their submit offers and small form submit offers which im going to be launching on mysolopop.com Now i have a network that has almost everything i need! And their contest is tight wow!

Tyler, just wanted to make it known that you shouldn’t work with CPARev anymore, word on the streets is that they’ve scammed some users, including me (all over a measly $117.00) – but the biggest person lost $34k

I agree. I was scammed for about $225 .
So my question is this, in order for a super affiliate to score the big prize, how many industries would they be affiliating in and is it all going to be PPA type programs? Or would they also be affiliating for stuff like say treadmills?
Wow, that’s the largest contest that I’ve never seen before, but I think it’s not easy to refer someone to join PublisherChallenge and win the contest, but it’s fun to join and stand a chance to win. 😀

this contest has lawsuit written all over it in my opinion. was this structure for a contest even reviewed by an attorney?
and i agree with the previous commenters – why the hell would i sign them up under your account if i can get 2% or 5% or whatever directly from the network?

this contest is a scam – just get the super affiliates commissions yourself and you can make a hell of a lot more than these prizes without giving this tyler cruz poser your referral commissions.
I’ve always wondered if the affiliates you refer here actually get up to the top tier. The prizes are great, but their always changing and seems impossible 🙁
